Unemployment is at its highest ever in South Carolina. So?, you ask. Well, that probably means that this old girl won't have a job next school year. Our district has four openings.....all of which they will probably have to go out of the district to fill. Sad.........many of our church folk are losing their jobs as well. The people here in SC are use to not having much, so for them, lean times are not as hard (they tend to plan well), but there is still a lot of depression.

Where's that stimulus? We need it here, and of course, the Govenor is trying to play politics; the President seems to think that being on Leno and 60 Minutes is more important than staying in Washington and working; and the people are left to suffer.

We need to pray for our country. I believe the rate of suicide is about to go up, domestic violence will see an increase, and children will be put at risk. Only God can save us, let's hope He does.
